In today's episode, we're going to deep dive into the wonderful world of decluttering and transforming our children's bedrooms into calm and productive spaces. We all know how challenging it can be to keep things tidy when you have a busy household. But fear not, Patricia has some awesome tips to help us navigate this daunting task.
Where do you even start if you want to declutter and optimize each room of your house? Well, according to Patricia, it's all about taking it one step at a time. You don't need to tackle every corner of your home in one go. She typically suggests starting with your front door. Start small and build on it gradually.

For example, while you're washing the dishes, take a moment to clean the front door. And if you notice your welcome mat needs replacing, while you're out shopping, grab a new one. These little actions add up and make a big difference. Patricia also suggests starting with smaller areas like the tupperware drawer or expired food in the pantry, rather than diving straight into decluttering your entire wardrobe or bookshelf.
Remember, it's not a sprint; it's a marathon. Feng shui is about bringing health, harmony, and happiness to your home, and that takes time. Patricia even has a program where you can learn feng shui at your own pace. So take a deep breath, let go of the overwhelm, and trust that by becoming more conscious of your environment, you'll naturally start seeing what needs to be done.
Now, let's talk about our kids' bedrooms. They're their sanctuary, their safe haven in the house. But sometimes, these spaces can quickly become cluttered and chaotic. Patricia suggests creating a balance between personal expression and clear space. Encourage your children to use cork boards or picture frame boards where they can display their favorite items, while keeping the rest of the walls clutter-free. This way, they'll have a peaceful place to rest and get a good night's sleep.
