Today marks my first-ever bonus episode - a crossover with the Emotional Abuse Is Real podcast.

🎙️ Buckle up, because it’s a rollercoaster.

For some background, I shared my divorce story from my first marriage on episode 41. Being that my show is about  #momlife and sharing solutions/resources for parents, I shared some of the backstory leading up to the divorce in that episode, along with key resources that helped me navigate this difficult period.

What I didn’t share was the gaslighting, manipulation, and other details of the emotional abuse I endured leading up to the divorce.

Narcissistic abuse is nuanced and complicated. As time passes and wounds become scars, however, I’ve been able to process my experience, develop positive emotional outlets, and start a beautiful new life chapter I wouldn’t have without the broken road that led me to it.

I’m finally ready to share all that happened. Thanks to Sarene Leeds and her Emotional Abuse Is Real podcast for giving me the opportunity to do that. Listen to part one of our conversation HERE.

This is the most vulnerable I’ve been with sharing the betrayal trauma and emotional abuse I experienced. If my story helps one person take a step forward in a healthy, positive way, then it’s worth it. Many thanks to Sarene for handling it (and me) with such care.
